Five Finalists for the Chrysler Film Project

The Chrysler Film Project is a film-based competition that focuses on the new emerging filmmakers in the U.S. by developing an original short film that features Chrysler branded vehicles.

Among the hundreds of entries in the Chrysler Film Project, the judges have already chosen the five finalists who will continue to the second stage of the competition.

Here are the names of the five finalists with their film title.

• Derek Cianfrance - BLUE VALENTINE

• Paul Fitzgerald - WE NEIGHBORS

• Jonathan Jardine – TOUCH

• Pamela Smith - LOVE ON SPEC

• Abe Sylvia - DIRTY GIRL

The five finalists will direct and edit a three to five minute short film featuring some of the latest vehicles from Chrysler, including the 2007 Chrysler Aspen and Chrysler Sebring.

The finalist’s film entries will be judged according to the unique screenplay, originality of the story, and the overall quality of the film. The winner of the Chrysler Film Project will be announced in September, and will have a chance for the one million dollar movie production deal courtesy of Chrysler and Silverwood Films.
